I am a confirmed internet bird dog bulletin board  junkie.  Over the years I have created, participated on, and moderated several different forums on the internet.  The most useful  (and the most useless for that matter) knowledge in my head comes from forum members.  Some of the most interesting photos are shared by hobbyist photographers with a camera along to share the experience on the web.   I have been on great adventures through photo essays posted on these forums.  I have also benefited greatly from training tips and thoughtful answers to questions posted by those seeking knowledge.

This site has been created this site to showcase some of these great forums, threads, and posts.  I am looking for great topics, questions, photos, and photo essays about gun dogs, training, hunting or field trialing.  In order to accomplish this I need your help.  If you see something top notch or extraordinary, please use the contact page or shoot a private message to “12 Volt Man” on any of our linked forums.  I will need to obtain permission from the author or photographer in order to cross post the content here.  I can add watermarks to photos if you would like photos protected for copyright issues.  Think of this site as an online magazine featuring the “greatest hits” from your favorite upland hunting and bird dog forums.

I am setting up these cross posts for several reasons.  First, I believe this will be an fun and useful website.  Second, search engines index their searches differently between forums, blogs, and websites.  I setting this up with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) in mind.  I want to drive traffic to the online forums via key word searches on search engines.  Each article here is linked back to the forum it was posted on.  This will drive traffic and increase participation on your favorite bulletin board.  And one last reason I am doing this, I enjoy it.  This is a fun creative project for me.

In order to keep the attention of the search engines we’ll need fresh content regularly.  I’ll be on the lookout for great posts, updating the site and working on getting proper permission from authors.  Again, if you find something outstanding or useful please contact me.  I’ll be happy to work on getting it published here.  If you would like to write an article specifically for Gun Dog Fusion then by all means let’s do it.  If you participate on other bird dog/upland hunting forums which are not linked to this site, please let me know.  I would be happy to check them out to see if they are a fit for this project.
